Global warming is so far the biggest environmental problem and the grimmest challenge confronting human beings in the 21st century. Though container ferry can save more than half of fuel oil consumption than land carriage, we are still a major consumer of fuel oil. So we are duty-bound to conserve the world’s resources, reduce the greenhouse gas emission, and fulfill the national energy-saving and discharge-reducing target. We will try to adopt new technologies, new techniques, new measures to control the unit consumption, reduce fuel oil consumption, decrease the emission of greenhouse gases, and thus further diminish the influence with environment.

Though we have made some experiments on sustainable development in the recent two years, we are still faced with many difficulties and the road ahead is still very long.
